Enough about the Stewart/Kahne tussle. I'm going to talk Sadler. I'm pissed! Elliott ran in the top five for 254 laps. When the final opportunity to pit came with ten laps to go, the M&M'S team opted not to pit for four fresh tires while most of the field on the lead lap behind them capitalized on it. The result was unfortunate as Elliott fell backwards through the field to finish 21st. On the bright side both Ryan Newman and Kurt Busch wrecked so Elliott moved up one spot in points from 8th to 7th. Only 8 races to go until the Chase for the Championship and he's in a good spot. So even though he finished pretty shitty yesterday....he did move up in points. So I'm not that upset.
