I figured it's about time I post about what is going on in my life right now. I'm moving back to Michigan on Saturday. I had some great times here in Atlanta, but I miss my friends soooo much up in Michigan. Plus I'm not doing so great with my finances. I'm working on some job leads, one possibility is working at an Applebee's up there. Keep your fingers crossed for me, hopefully I find a job quickly. Then I'll work on going back to school. As for my living situation, I have a few options. I'm going to move back in my old room at my parents house, just for a short while. My friend Doug just bought a house and he's offered me a room....but I don't think I want to live with him. I'm more inclined to get an apartment by myself. I'll keep y'all updated!
Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.

He drives the #8 Kentucky Fried Chicken Chevrolet for Chance 2 Motorsports (the team Dale Earnhardt Jr. owns with his stepmother). He has been racing since he was 11 years old. The Rock and Elliott Sadler
Chastity this picture is for you. See we once had a debate dealing with the Rock. Is he hot or not?? He's actually kind of growing on me. The fact that he is a NASCAR fan helps. This is a picture from when he was the Grand Marshall for the Samsung Radioshack 500 at the Texas Motor Speedway. It also happens to be the race that Elliott Sadler won.

NASCAR Hottie of the Week - Kasey Kahne
By popular demand.....the NASCAR Hottie of this week is Kasey Kahne. Kasey is the 24 year old rookie phenom from Enumclaw, Washington. He is in his first NASCAR Nextel Cup season, driving the #9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge for Evernham Motorsports. Currently Kasey is 11th in points, fighting for the coveted 10th transfer spot with 4 races to go until the Chase for the Nextel Cup. Kasey has won the Bud Pole 4 times this year and also finished in 2nd place 4 times. (Sorry about that 2nd place finish at Texas).

Long Time, No Post....
I decided to drive to Michigan on Wednesday for a short little vacation. I had been really homesick and my grandma was in the hospital, so I decided it was a good time to take a trip north. It was a good time, I realized that I missed my friends alot. My grandma is doing alot better now, it was good to see her.

NASCAR Hottie of the Week - Jamie McMurray
This is a new post I'm going to do. Every week I am going to pick a driver to be the NASCAR Hottie of the Week. This week the driver is Jamie McMurray. Jamie is 28 years old and hails from Joplin, Missouri. Jamie shocked NASCAR when he won his first race October 13th, 2002 at Lowe's Motor Speedway. It was only his 2nd start in the Winston Cup (now Nextel) Series as a substitute driver for the injured Sterling Marlin. In 2003 he was named the Raybestos Winston Cup Rookie of the Year. This year is his second season driving the #42 Texaco Havoline Dodge for Chip Ganassi Racing. Jamie is currently 14th in points, 109 points out of 10th place.

Congratulations to Casey Mears on winning the Bud Pole at Indy. This is his 2nd pole in a row, his first ever was last weekend at Pocono. Casey broke the track qualifying record posting a speed of 186.293 mph. Elliott Sadler qualified not too far behind Mears. Sadler will start 3rd on the grid for the Brickyard 400.

CHEERS to imagining Elliott Sadler winning not just one, but TWO races.
CHEERS to another top-10 for Mr. Consistency, Elliott Sadler. I don't know if you've been paying attention here, but I'm thinking with his consistency and what seems to be just enough assertiveness, we might be looking at this year's champion.

Post Race Quotes From Elliott Sadler
ELLIOTT SADLER - NO. 38 M&M's TAURUS (FINISHED 10TH) "We had a good, strong car early on and we kept making adjustments. The crew did a great job and got me some track position, but we also had some miscues after halfway. It was up and down at the end there and we just dug too deep of a hole to get out. It's a shame because this M&M's team really has tons of talent, but we just seem to have crazy stuff happening to us lately. We just had an awesome car and worked hard all day, but the pit mistakes cost us big-time. I'm sure we will regroup and get them at Indy."
YOU PULLED OUT A TOP-10. "Yeah, we just never gave up. We had fuel problems and had a tire roll across pit road. We took a Top-5 car and kind of put us in the back and it's hard to make those kind of passes, but we never gave up. To come back and finish 10th and get all the points we could is a great day for us. I'm just really tired right now and I'm worn out. I just want to go sit in the air conditioning."
A LOT OF GUYS HAD PROBLEMS AROUND YOU IN THE POINTS. "I haven't looked at the points yet, but it definitely helped us. Now we can go to Indy and try to race for the win."

Sadler Chases Down a Top Ten Finish
Today in the Pennsylvania 500, Elliott Sadler broke a streak of finishes 15 or worse by finishing in 10th place. Sadler may have had a good day, but he also had some help. 4 of the drivers also in the top ten in points struggled. Kevin Harvick, Tony Stewart, Bobby Labonte, and Kurt Busch all failed to finish (whoo hoo!!). With these drivers struggling, Sadler moved up 2 spots in the point standings. Now with 6 races to go until the Chase For the Nextel Cup Elliott is now 6th in points. All in all, a good points day for the #38 M&M crew!
