Some Holiday Photos (Not much, but its a start)

We are having a pot luck today at work, I decided to take 2 trays of cookies, and for some reason take pics of them. I was a busy girl this past weekend! These are just some of the many cookies I made.

FINALLY!!!

Last night on ANTM Bianca was sent home from China. She was such a witch, I am so glad they sent her packing. I couldn't stand her from the very beginning, her attitude was too much for me. My favs to make the final 2 are Chantal and Jenah, they are my 2 favs, I didn't like Jenah at first, but she's grown on me.

So my favorite couple from the very beginning won the Dancing with the Stars mirror ball trophy. I think I picked him from the beginning because he's a racecar driver, not NASCAR, but still he drives a racecar. I really would like to see a NASCAR driver on this show, but with their schedule it just wouldn't "jive." Anyway the funny thing is I didn't even watch the show last night, I recorded it on my brand new DishDVR (which I could not live without now) and only watched the last 5 minutes this morning. I cheated! I'm not sure when I'll get time to watch the rest, I already have like 20 movies recorded (free HBO and Cinemax) I don't have time to watch!

So I Suck.....
I disappeared from blogger again. I've been so busy. Loren and I just moved into a house so with moving, getting settled in, work and other stuff I've been busy. Oh and we don't have internet yet either, so that keeps me from blogging too. Just wanted to let my many (hahaha 2) readers I'm still alive. Busy, but alive! Oh and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone....eat lots of food!

My New Obsession

I am officially obsessed with the rerun marathons of America's Next Top Model (ANTM) on MTV and the repeats on the CW on Wednesdays. I have to watch it, its like I am drawn to the TV and I sit watching it when I know I have plenty of other things I SHOULD be doing, but I'm not. Its not so bad when I watch it on Wednesday nights, its the marathons on MTV. I have wasted a WHOLE day watching it. Its crazy because I've looked on the internet to see who's won each season, so the whole time I'm watching I know who the eventual winner is. I love watching the makeover episodes, there always is that one girl that has long hair and Tyra chooses to cut it all off...the girl cries and cries and cries. I love it! I never thought I'd like this show because of Tyra, but actually she doesn't bother me at all. I swear though the only reason I watch it is because of Nigel Barker, who is a judge....he is soooo HOT! The 2 gay guys are funny too....Miss J (who is crazy) and Jay Manuel a make-up artisit and directs all the shoots. I can't wait until Sept. 17th when the new season starts!

The World of Cell Phones

I really want a new cell phone. I really WANT (of course I don't NEED it) the one pictured above. My current phone is about to break, a big chunk of plastic is missing from the part that flips. Unfortunately the phone I want isn't available through the carrier I currently have, which is Nextel. I hate my Nextel, but I have it because of the 2-way walkie talkie that EVERYONE I know has. To switch to another carrier, like to Verizon where the phone I want is through, I have to pay a $200 early termination fee to Nextel. This is despite the fact that the service SUCKS. I live in the thumb part of Michigan (hold your right hand up readers and look at your thumb, I live in the lower part) and getting any kind of cell phone to work here is about impossible. I have heard decent things about Verizon and I'd like to try them. Nextel is starting to scare me, they were bought out by Sprint a few years ago and now you can't even purchase or look at Nextel phones on the website, you either have to go to a store or do it over the phone....seems a little fishy to me, makes me wonder what the heck is going on.

On another note, I'm noticing as I am typing this post, the font button that is usually at the top of Blogger posting is not there anymore....what the heck is up with that??

So I Feel Like Crying Today

Today at work, we had a demonstration from a company that will pretty much take our agency paperless. There is one other company that will also be doing a demonstration and then it will be decided which company the agency will go with.

This is all fine and dandy, until sitting through the demonstration this morning I realize that pretty much EVERYTHING I do now; scanning, typing the 485's, scheduling, I won't be doing anymore, it will all be in the hands of the nurses.

I am a MAJOR worrier. So seeing all this has sent me into major worry mode. It doesn't help either that I had an opportunity to take a new position at an Occupational Health Clinic and I turned it down because I was offered full time 40 hrs at my current position and 12 cents more an hour. I was positive I made the right choice, now I'm not so sure. I could be making a mountain out of a mole hill, but since Loren (my boyfriend) and I are looking at buying a house, I want to know I have stability in my job. I've been throwing around the idea of going back to school to get my nursing degree.....but the only thing holding me back is $$$$$. I am probably just overreacting, but I just needed to rant and get all of this out there, its kinda making me feel a little better already.

Welcome Back to Blogger.......

I don't seem to remember how to do any of this stuff. With Heidi's help I used to be a wiz at this template stuff, now I can't seem to figure anything out anymore. I guess it doesn't help I haven't even been to my blog in over a year, I'm hoping it all comes back to me. I'm pretty sure no one reads this anymore. I'd blog about NASCAR, but I haven't really been watching much anymore. I have become addicted to Hollywood gossip. I can't help but visit my fav sites Popsugar or TMZ for all the latest. Oh I'm also hooked on that Celebrity Baby Blog. I love getting some glimpses of that cutie pie Violet Affleck, she is the cutest little thing!
